This is another two-month newsletter. In a week, I will be having knee replacement surgery. Dave and I have everything lined up medically. Based on what I have been told, I feel confident that I will be able to make a new recipe for you in March.
A week ago, we enjoyed a trip back home to Oregon. The first few days we visited my father and his delightful wife, Shirley. Before heading home, we spent a few days at Cannon Beach on the Oregon coast. We enjoyed a fair amount of seafood and walks on the beach. With food now on my mind, I have another recipe I published in August of 2021 that I would like to share again. It is Pacific NW Clam Chowder.
So, what about those oyster crackers they serve with chowder? They are like little saltine crackers. Apparently, they resemble small oysters. They were created by the Westminster Cracker Company in 1828 in Westminster, Massachusetts.
We wish you well in this new year!
