I needed some croutons for my French Onion Soup recipe. This recipe for Garlic Cheese Croutons comes from “www.ourbestbites.com”. These croutons are coated with garlic, parsley and cheese. They are crunchy and delicious. You won’t want to go back to store bought croutons after you have tasted these garnished on soup or any of your favorite salads!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Place the bread cubes in a large baggie. Combine the garlic, cheese, parsley and olive oil in a bowl. Add the mixture to the bread cubes. Seal and toss the bag in circular motion until all the cubes are coated.
Pour the seasoned bread cubes onto a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Make sure the cubes are all in one single layer. Bake for 20 minutes turning the croutons once halfway through. They are finished when golden brown. Cool and store in the same airtight baggie until you are ready to use them.
